“…A breakthrough Electro Pop anthem that is poised to become a dance chart topper… unique for this genre of music, opting for deep and meaningful lyrics (not unlike last year’s “I Took a Pill in Ibiza”)… And at its heart, “My Return Address is You” is a song about love and those from our past who continue to have a piece of our heart… The song’s moody, euphoric vibe makes it not only suited for the dance floor but it should also play well on any radio rotation alongside the likes of Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers or Martin Garrix.” - ELECTROWOW
An animated lyric video, directed by Davenport with production by Matt Daley, was also released. Davenport says it is conceptually inspired in part by Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. “I wanted to visually explore in a sort of abstract way the idea of traveling through space, searching for love. Similarly, I hope this song might move others to tap into love within themselves and find it in their own lives. You’re not alone.”
MY RETURN ADDRESS IS YOU: THE REMIXES
Headlined by Grammy-nominated StoneBridge, the six tracks on this EP feature remix work from an array of international DJ/producers who Davenport assembled for this compilation that has been praised as one of the strongest remix albums to support a debut release from a new artist.
"I love the scope and imagination that went into this release," says Davenport. "It was an international collaboration with remixers hailing from three continents! Each artist invested their heart and soul into the work and put their own unique stamp onto their respective track. We're all inspired to bring the world together through dance music."
StoneBridge, who first became a household name in the dance world with his remix of Robin S.'s "Show Me Love," garnered a Grammy Award nomination for his remix of Ne-Yo's "Closer" and a BMI Songwriter of the Year award for his contribution to Jason Derulo's "Don't Wanna Go Home." StoneBridge’s remix of “My Return Address Is You” played in rotation throughout North America on Sirius XM BPM, after he premiered his club mix of the single on June 17, 2017.

“A grandiose EP exclusively for DJs who play EDM, House and Progressive House rhythms… THE delicious vocals from Shanica Knowles stay intact IN ALL THE TRACKS… each one features different drops, bringing the right energy for THE CLUB.” - ELECTROWOW
“A commendable debut, Davenport’s first club track has been re-ignited by the features on its remix package. A sonic revival at the hands of Ukrainian newcomer Marat Leon re-imagines the track into a bustling dance floor flame that uses hollow bass lines and filtered stutters with chilling effect. The result is a gripping remix that makes impeccable use of Knowles’ powerful vocals — and one that is already topping the charts.” — Andrew Spada, DANCING ASTRONAUT
“(MARAT LEON’S) REMIX iS FIRE… PULLS YOU INTO THE TRACK AND GETS YOU NODDING YOUR HEAD UP AND DOWN. THIS TRACK IS Made for the deep house night clubs, that are dark and mysterious.” — MIX 247 EDM
